This is the website for ESU-10, the 10th European Summer University on History and Epistemology in Mathematics Education.
The deadline for submitting abstracts of proposals is now officially closed. If you still wish to participate in the event with a presentation, please contact the organisers, by email, as soon as possible, and they will assess the feasibility of your request. End of January 2026: Notification of acceptance or not of the proposals submitted until January 7th. See Registration Informations for more details.

The European Summer University on the History and Epistemology in Mathematics Education (ESU) is originally the initiative of to the French Mathematics Education community of the IREMs, in the early 1980’s. From those meetings emerged the organization of a Summer University on a European scale, in close cooperation with the HPM group.
ESU-10 will take place in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Aveiro.
This event will be certified as a training course for Portuguese teachers (groups 230 and 500; more information will be given later).
